Non-profit Web Development School

CodeAbode is the first non-profit code academy designed with the ever evolving needs of the health industry in mind. As a division of the National Museum of Health & Medicine Chicago, we provide students with the skills they need to become successful web app developers both inside and outside the healthcare industry.

We are dedicated to making learning web development accessible and affordable. Our curriculum doesn’t assume any prior knowledge, so if you’ve been trying to figure out how to get started in web development, apply for one of our upcoming courses!

Full Stack Curriculum

We teach “full stack” development – front-end HTML/CSS & JavaScript as well as server-side programming in JavaScript (node.js). Our flexible, hands-on curriculum can be taken in full-time, intensive bootcamp classes or as part-time, evening classes.

“This program gave me a set of fundamental skills in multiple coding languages. I didn’t just learn code, or how to code, I learned how to teach myself. It’s a great resource for my future.”
— Aileen Rangel, Bootcamp Graduate
“CodeAbode has been a great resource for me to expand my potential to an area I've always been interested in. It has given me a great platform to continue furthering my knowledge.”
— Landon Blackburn, Bootcamp Graduate
